Lidia Commerce Joins Innogate Netherlands to Explore New Paths for European Growth

Lidia Commerce took part in the 2026 Innogate | Always On Netherlands programme, joining a group of ten Turkish technology companies seeking to deepen their understanding of the Dutch market and strengthen their international growth strategies.

Led by İTÜ ARI Teknokent and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade, the programme brought participants together with investors, corporate organisations, technology hubs, potential partners, and other stakeholders across the Dutch innovation ecosystem.

For Lidia Commerce, the programme created a valuable setting in which to introduce its modular digital commerce platform, listen to the priorities of organisations operating in the Netherlands, and explore how enterprise commerce requirements are evolving across Europe.

Entering a New Market Begins with Understanding It

International expansion is not simply a matter of offering the same technology in a new geography. Each market has its own commercial structures, buyer expectations, technology landscape, partnership models, and decision-making processes.

The Netherlands is an important European centre for digital innovation, international trade, logistics, retail, and technology-led business. It also provides access to a highly connected ecosystem of corporates, entrepreneurs, investors, and specialised service providers.

The Innogate programme was designed to help participating technology companies explore this environment directly. Through market-focused sessions and ecosystem meetings, participants were able to test their assumptions, gain local perspectives, and identify the relationships required for sustainable market entry.

This approach aligns closely with Lidia Commerce’s view of international growth: strong market entry is built through local understanding, relevant partnerships, and a clear connection between technology capabilities and real operational needs.

Connecting with the Dutch Innovation Ecosystem

The Netherlands programme included activities at CIC Rotterdam, an international innovation hub located at the centre of the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Working with InnovationQuarter and other programme supporters, Innogate connected the participating companies with local business partners, investors, potential customers, and technology stakeholders.

The Innogate Rotterdam Gathering formed an important part of the programme. It brought entrepreneurs, corporate executives, investors, technology professionals, and representatives of the Turkish and Dutch business ecosystems together around international collaboration and market development.

Participants also visited Entertech Amsterdam to discuss how cooperation between technology parks and innovation communities can support companies seeking to grow beyond their home markets. A reception hosted at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in The Hague provided a further opportunity for the participating companies to present their technologies and exchange views with diplomatic, commercial, and business representatives.

Together, these engagements offered more than visibility. They enabled direct conversations about how technology companies can establish trust, develop local networks, and shape propositions that reflect the needs of a new market.

Bringing Modular Commerce Capabilities to European Enterprises

Enterprise commerce requirements are becoming increasingly interconnected. Organisations may need to manage direct-to-consumer sales, complex B2B ordering, digital marketplaces, product information, employee commerce, or field sales through a combination of channels and business systems.

These journeys rarely begin with a blank technology landscape. ERP, CRM, e-commerce, portal, mobile, product data, inventory, and fulfilment systems are often already in place. The challenge is to introduce new capabilities without creating further fragmentation or forcing an organisation into a disruptive, all-at-once transformation.

Lidia Commerce addresses this challenge through a modular platform that supports B2C, B2B, marketplace, product information management, and other digital commerce models. Its API-first architecture allows enterprises to introduce the capabilities relevant to their priorities while maintaining connections with existing systems and expanding incrementally over time.

The conversations enabled by Innogate Netherlands provided a useful opportunity to position this approach within a market where composability, integration, operational efficiency, and scalable digital experiences are increasingly important.

Learning from Local Priorities

International programmes create value when they enable companies to listen as well as present.

For Lidia Commerce, engagement with the Dutch ecosystem supported a broader understanding of how local organisations evaluate technology partnerships, approach enterprise integration, and plan cross-channel commerce initiatives. It also reinforced the importance of combining a globally relevant product proposition with market-specific knowledge and trusted local relationships.

For many established organisations, commerce modernisation is not a single project. It is a continuing process involving customer experience, partner operations, product data, commercial models, and core business systems. This creates a need for technology platforms and implementation ecosystems that can support change in manageable phases.

By participating in the programme, Lidia Commerce was able to explore where its platform can contribute to these transformation journeys and what forms of collaboration may be most relevant in the Netherlands.

Building the Foundations for Sustainable European Growth

The Innogate | Always On Netherlands programme represents part of Lidia Commerce’s wider international growth journey.

The immediate value lies in market insight, new relationships, and a clearer understanding of the Dutch business and technology environment. The longer-term opportunity is to translate these foundations into relevant partnerships and enterprise commerce initiatives across the Netherlands and the wider European market.

Lidia Commerce will continue developing relationships established through the programme and exploring opportunities to support organisations seeking more connected, adaptable, and scalable digital commerce operations.
