This month's release includes significant updates and improvements introduced across Lidia PIM. These enhancements aim to optimize product information management workflows and provide a smoother user experience for platform users.
In this document, updates and improvements related to Lidia PIM are identified using the following release code. This code helps you identify and track updates specifically introduced for Lidia PIM.
Product Information Management – Improvements, new features, user experience enhancements, and bug fixes related to product, variant, and catalog data management.
With this development, users can now create individual products directly in Lidia PIM without uploading an Excel file.
The new structure allows users to enter product information step by step, view mandatory field requirements and validation results throughout the process, and save products as drafts or publish them. This provides a more practical, traceable, and user-friendly single product creation experience.
With this development, the globally standardized Google Shopping format and a dedicated Lidia PIM format, designed specifically for the needs of Lidia PIM users, have been added to the Lidia PIM feed structure.
The existing preview functionality has been enhanced, allowing generated feed outputs to be viewed in XML, JSON, and CSV formats. Users can copy the previewed output in the same format or export it for use across different systems and channels.
This enables users to validate feed outputs before export and manage them more easily in formats suited to different use cases.
With this development, field mapping management has been added to the Lidia PIM feed structure. Users can map PIM fields to feed output fields and determine whether individual fields should be included in or excluded from the feed.
The groups, subgroups, fields, output field names, and container names included in the feed output can be customized according to user requirements.
A mini guide containing usage rules and helpful tips for the field mapping process has also been added to the feed detail page.
This allows feed structures to be configured according to the data formats and requirements of target systems and channels.
With this development, new settings have been added to customize feed outputs in terms of format, performance, and content.
Users can now:
With this development, the Bulk Delete action has been added to the Media List, Products, and Variants pages in Lidia PIM.
Users can select multiple records and delete them in a single operation through the Bulk Updates or Bulk Actions menu.
In addition, the bulk action menus on these pages have been reviewed and refined, with appropriate icons added to improve visual clarity and the overall user experience.
With this development, users can select multiple images from the Media List in Lidia PIM and download them in a single operation.
The selected media files are packaged and downloaded as a ZIP file through the Download Selected action in the Bulk Updates menu.
With this improvement, the inclusion or exclusion of attributes associated with PIM collections in feed outputs can be managed more effectively. Users can determine whether attributes included in selected collections should be returned in the feed output.
In addition, when any field associated with a product is updated, the product’s last updated date in the feed output is automatically updated to reflect the change.
This enables more flexible management of collection-based feed content and ensures that product update information is accurately reflected in feed outputs.
Various bugs have been fixed to improve the stability of Lidia PIM following the Core conversion.
These updates are designed to enhance both the functionality and usability of Lidia Platform, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience for all users. Stay tuned for further improvements next month!
